Observing the enjoyment people found in hearty South Indian meals, our founder recognized a need for the perfect crunchy accompaniment. This led to the creation of papadams and appalams, a local favorite. What started as a humble family endeavor flourished into a thriving enterprise under the vision of Mr. K.A. Velayudhan, who established the Ambika Appalam brand in 1976. Today, with multiple outlets and decades of loyal customers, we continue to blend regional flavors with innovative food practices.
